Joette Giardina, CBA
Joette Giardina started her full time career in balloons in 2003, purchasing an existing balloon decor company in Lakeland, Florida. The previous owner of the company had a store front that had closed 2 years prior to Joette purchasing it. Joette had to rebuild the company brand and let people know they were still in business, operating as a home based business rather than a store front. To build her customer base back up Joette became a “master at networking” getting active in the local chamber, business organization and attending every business course she could locally, and ever balloon convention or workshop she could find to help her grow Party People.
In 2009 Joette won First place at FLOAT in Miniature Design and Freestyle. She then started teaching at FLOAT, and face painting convention.
As Joette grew Party People more people started asking her for marketing tips, Joette had grown her decor company to $150,000 a year in sales with a combination of Balloon and Fabric decor.
After working on a project with Johanthon Gerber for a client in Orlando, he asked Joette if she would be interested in selling her decor company. In 2015 Joette sold her business and became the Marketing Director for Party People Events, to stay connected in the industry and focus on the area she enjoyed the most marketing, allowing her the opportunity to focus her full time attention serving as a catalyst for the balloon industry creating new training resources she wished she would of had when she started in the industry.
January 2015 BalloonCoach.com launched with online webinars, one to one and group coaching, and live hands on events to help support and encourage smart business practices in the balloon industry.
Promotions & Profits Retreat Orlando has been created to give you a Unique training experience. Retreat 2018 was a sold out event. The goal is for you to take the professional photography, new knowledge and increased confidence from retreat and apply to your business to increase your profits for the following year.
BalloonCoach.com brings a diverse group of business professionals together from inside and outside of the balloon industry to help you get the resources in personal and business development to help you grow all the skills and supports to thrive in the balloon industry.
January 2019, Joette was honored to be awarded the Betallic Inspire Award for her contributions to the balloon industry at FLOAT 2019.
The lovely award has a globe with the quote “Success is a Journey not a Destination” Joette invites you to join her on the adventure of success with the dynamic team of instructors she has put together for this unique learning experience.
