A Little bit about Joette

While growing a full time Balloon and Event Decor business in Lakeland, Florida, I often searched for business guidance. I joined the local Chamber of Commerce, American Business Women’s Association and attended business conferences with wonderful speakers such as Zig Ziglar, to gain nuggets of business education to grow my company. I have always felt that education in our industry has been key to my success.

One thing I saw missing in our industry was strong business support for the struggling company. Our industry is full of amazing, talented, creative, and artistic people. However, if you are making amazing designs and not being paid a fair rate for your work, this is a hobby and not an income producing business.

Through my photo posts on Facebook, fellow balloon artists email me and ask me “how do you stay so busy?”, “how can I get a Corporate account?”, “how do you get clients to pay you a fair wage?”, “What organizations are you a part of?”

I have found over the years that I really enjoyed seeing other businesses grow and succeed. It became my passion to help others create the success I have had and propel past the income that I had created from my business.

I invested in two business coaches to help me develop my plan for business coaching specific to the Balloon Industry. I saw first hand how having a Coach to hear my ideas and that could give me sage advice pointed me in the right direction.
